Chocolate Pretzel Cookies with Caramel Drizzle

Chewy, chocolatey, and studded with crunchy pretzel pieces then drizzled with homemade salted caramel sauce and finished with a sprinkle of flaky salt.

Make homemade salted caramel sauce or use store bought.

Whisk together flour, cocoa powder, espresso powder, baking soda, and salt.

Cream together butter, white sugar, and brown sugar.

Mix in eggs and vanilla extract until everything is well combined.

Add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients and mix just until combined.

Add broken pretzel pieces and chocolate chips to the cookie dough batter. Mix on low until evenly distributed.

Using a spoon or ice cream scooper, scoop cookie dough balls onto a parchment lined baking sheet. 

Bake 9 to 11 minutes then cool on the baking sheet for 2 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.

Drizzle each cookie with salted caramel sauce and top with flaky sea salt. Enjoy!
