Cardamom Cupcakes with Cinnamon Cream Cheese Frosting

Fragrant moist cardamom cupcakes topped with a sweet and slightly tangy cinnamon cream cheese frosting.

In a bowl, whisk together the flour, cardamom, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.

In a separate bowl, cream together the oil and sugar.

Add in the eggs, whole milk, sour cream, and vanilla extract.

Add the dry ingredients to the wet and mix just until they are combined.

Scoop the cupcake batter into a lined cupcake pan. 

Bake for 16 to 19 minutes, or until baked through. Transfer to a wire rack to cool.

Add the butter, cream cheese, powdered sugar, cinnamon, and vanilla in a bowl and beat for about 10 minutes. 

Scoop the frosting into a piping bag fitted with a tip and frost each cupcake.
