Chocolate Peanut Butter Pie

Buttermilk pie crust topped with layers of chocolate ganache, creamy peanut butter, and lightly sweetened whipped topping. Finish with a grating of chocolate and chopped peanuts for a pie everyone will love!

Begin by making the buttermilk pie crust. Mix together flour, sugar, and salt. Then, cut in the butter.

Add the buttermilk and toss to combine. Dump the dough out onto the counter and begin pressing it together.

Shape the dough into a disk and wrap in plastic wrap. Place it in the fridge to chill for 20 minutes.

Roll the pie crust out and place in a pie pan. Use your fingers to crimp the edges.

Blind bake with beans for half the time and then remove and continue baking until baked through and lightly browned.

Meanwhile, heat heavy whipping cream and pour it over semi-sweet chocolate. Stir to combine. Chill.

Spread the ganache in the bottom of the cooled pie crust and chill while prepping the filling and toppings.

Cream together peanut butter, powdered sugar, cream cheese, and heavy whipping cream. Spread over the ganache layer.

Top with homemade whipped cream, chocolate shavings, and chopped peanuts. Chill for 4 hours or overnight before serving.
