Cinnamon Coffee Cake

This Cinnamon Coffee Cake has a moist dense crumb with a thin layer of cinnamon sugar and is topped with a crunchy buttery cinnamon streusel.

Ingredients

*All-purpose flour *Granulated Sugar *Baking Powder *Salt *Unsalted Butter *Eggs *Canola Oil *Vanilla Extract *Whole Milk *Cinnamon

Make the cinnamon sugar layer. Set aside.

Make the streusel topping. Set aside.

Make the coffee cake batter.

Scoop half of the cake batter into a buttered and floured 9-inch springform pan.

Sprinkle the cinnamon sugar mixture evenly over the cake batter.

Spoon the rest of the cake batter on top and carefully spread it out into an even layer.

Crumble the cinnamon streusel over the top of the cake.

Bake at 350 degrees F for 50 to 60 minutes or until a toothpick comes out with only a few moist crumbs.

Allow the cake to cool for 10 minutes then release the springform pan. Cool for another 2 hours before serving.
