Crispy Potato Fritters

Simple ingredients come together to make these easy crispy pan-fried potato fritters.

Using a box grater, finely grate Yukon gold potatoes.

Soak the potatoes in cold water for 10 minutes. Then drain and rinse them.

Use a kitchen towel or cheesecloth to squeeze out as much excess water as possible.

In a bowl, whisk together flour, salt, garlic powder, and baking powder.

Add milk, melted butter, and an egg. Mix until they are well combined.

Add the grated potatoes and thinly sliced green onions and mix until everything is evenly distributed.

Scoop 1/4 cup of fritter batter into hot oil and pan fry for 3 to 4 minutes.

Flip and fry another 3 to 4 minutes. Remove the fritters and place them on a wire rack or paper towel-lined plate.

Serve them warm with cool sour cream, yogurt, or ranch for the ultimate side dish or appetizer!
