Hot Honey Chicken Sandwiches

Tender crispy chicken thighs fried to golden brown perfection, drizzled with spicy hot honey, and nestled between cool lettuce and crunchy pickles on a toasted brioche bun.

Marinade the chicken in seasoned buttermilk for at least 4 hours but ideally overnight.

Meanwhile, make the hot honey by warming honey and red pepper flakes then adding hot sauce. Set aside.

Whisk together flour, paprika, garlic powder, salt, cayenne, and black pepper.

Dredge the buttermilk soaked chicken thighs pressing firmly to create craggy pieces.

Fry in batches for 6 to 8 minutes or until deeply golden brown and crispy.

Meanwhile, broil buttered brioche buns until golden brown.

Spread mayo on both buns, add lettuce, a fried chicken thigh, the hot honey, and pickle chips. Enjoy!
