Stuffed Shells with Ground Beef

Jumbo pasta shells are loaded with a cheesy ricotta mixture, nestled into a hearty ground beef tomato sauce, and topped with golden brown mozzarella cheese.

Ingredients

*Jumbo Pasta Shells *Olive Oil *Onion *Garlic Cloves *Ground Beef *Dried Oregano *Salt *Pepper *Crushed Tomatoes *Ricotta Cheese *Mozzarella *Parmesan *Egg *Parsley

Heat oil over medium heat. Sauté diced onion until translucent. Add minced garlic and sauté for another 30 seconds.

Add the ground beef and sauté until cooked through, about 8 minutes. Drain.

Mix the dried oregano, salt, and pepper into the beef. Then, add the crushed tomatoes. Simmer on low.

Boil the pasta for 1 minute less than the package directions suggest. Drain and rinse with cold water.

While the pasta is boiling, mix together ricotta, mozzarella, parmesan, egg, parsley, and salt.

Stuffed the shells with the ricotta mixture then nestle them into the meat sauce.

Top them with more shredded mozzarella cheese. Bake for 25 minutes then broil for 2 minutes or until the cheese is golden brown.

Allow the stuffed shells to cool for about 10 minutes, sprinkle with extra parsley.

Serve warm and enjoy!
